This unidentified driver in the 2015 Indianapolis 500 demonstrates what can only be identified as “the Pinkie Wave”. Whether it is for the camera or for the crowd is also undetermined and one can only wonder if it is being used because it is more aerodynamic than the full, four-fingered approach.
